Top 5 News and Magazines Apps on Android in Qatar for Q3 2022

In the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 news and magazines applications on the Android platform in Qatar showed diverse performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads and active users for each app.

Koo: Know What's Happening! saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 615 in early August and experiencing a drop to approximately 234 by the last week of September. Active users for this app increased steadily from 242 at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 988 by the end.

Opera News: breaking & local had a peak in weekly downloads of 395 in early July but then saw a decline, ending the quarter with about 130 downloads. The active users for Opera News also showed a downward trend, starting at 2777 and dropping to 2111 by the end of September.

Pakistan Cricket News experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads, starting from just 2 in mid-July and reaching a high of 623 at the end of August. The downloads then fluctuated, ending the quarter with 198.

Twitter Lite had a relatively stable download trend, peaking at 259 in early August and ending the quarter at around 101. Active users for Twitter Lite showed a slight increase from 316 at the start of the quarter to 326 by the end.

Hindi News:Aaj Tak Live TV App saw moderate fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at 237 in late August and then declining to 101 by the end of September. Active users for this app were relatively stable, starting at 2059 and ending at 1817.
